This West Palm Beach home featured a beautiful travertine pool deck that had lost its original color and finish due to years of exposure to Florida’s sun and moisture. The pavers had visible mildew, ground-in dirt, and faded tones that made the space appear dull and uneven.

Our goal was to fully restore the surface’s natural beauty while providing long-term protection against future wear and discoloration.

Deep Cleaning:
We began with a full surface pre-treatment to loosen embedded dirt, algae, and organic growth between the joints. The deck was then pressure cleaned using a rotary surface cleaner for consistent coverage and stain removal.

Re-sanding:
After cleaning, polymeric sand was carefully re-applied to stabilize the joints and prevent weed growth and shifting.

Sealing:
To finish, we applied a premium commercial-grade sealer designed for natural stone. This enhanced the travertine’s rich tan and gold hues while providing a durable, water-repellent layer to protect against UV rays, pool chemicals, and future staining.

The transformation was immediate — the color depth returned, the natural variation in the travertine popped, and the surface took on a subtle, satin finish that highlights the quality of the stonework. The refreshed look not only enhances curb appeal but also extends the life of the deck for years to come.
